Maze Runner

Overbreak I read Maze Runner by James Dashner. This book is about a 15-16 year old boy who wakes up in a metal box and has no memory of his past or any memories at all. The only thing he does remember is his name is Thomas. The box is made of steel and pitch black so he has no idea when it is going to stop. Finally after what seems forever the boxes comes to a stop. When the lid opens we hears voices and then people are pulling him out of the box. He looks around and the are probably fifty boys staring at him. He looks around and he is in an area that is enclosed with massive stonewalls. A kid finally starts talking to him "welcoming him to the maze". There are four massive entrances and exits on each wall. The kid is still talking but Thomas isn't really listening. Each entrance leads into the maze. He is extremely confused and hungry. The next day another person comes up in the box which is weird cause for two years straight it was just once a month people came up. When they open the lid they find a girl. She is in a coma but there is something different. She holds in her hand a note that say's "Everything is Going to Change." After that weird things start happening to the maze and the people inside it. They all have the same end goal of escaping. This was a good and descriptive book. I suggest it. It is a lot like Divergent and The Hunger Games. It is a trilogy so I plan to read the other books over the next couple of weeks.

Next week I will read The Scorch Trials by James Dashner.
